In this hour a press statement is held at Izmir’s CHD department

ÖHD, ÇHD and İHD called for a press conference on the ongoing hunger strikes and well-type prisons at the department of CHD (Contemporary Lawyer’s Association) in Izmir.

“We wait everyone to the press conference we will hold on the hunger strikes in prisons in Istanbul, Çorlu, Izmir, Ankara and Antalya demanding the closure of Y, S type and YGC (high security prisons) known as well-type prisons.”

Today the indefinite hungerstrikes of 9 prisoners are far advanced:
