Protest against political extradition in Greece

On 27th May a gathering was held in front of the French Embassy in Athens/Greece to demand the immediate release of Zehra Kurtay!

Zehra is a political refugee in France and she was detained a few days ago with the attempt to extradite her to Turkey, a place where all political opposition forces are under threat, first of all political refugees with political asylum!

Asylum is a right, it is inacceptable and against the law to extradite a political refugee to a country where the person would face torture and other severe human rights violations due to her political opinion.
