Protests against extradition threat of Zehra Kurtay

Protest in front of the French Consulate in Düsseldorf for Zehra Kurtay!

Revolutionary journalist Zehra Kurtay, who was detained in France for deportation and released with judicial control, is still facing the threat of deportation.

Protests continue for the elimination of this situation.

On Wednesday, June 4, a rally was held in front of the French Consulate in Düsseldorf, between 1.00 p.m.- 2.00 p.m.

The protest, which was joined by 15 people ended with a press statement given to the French Consulate and with slogans for Zehra’s freedom.

Another protest was held today, June 4th, in front of the Fernch Consulate in Berlin.

Both actions were held to prevent the extradition of the political refugee and former journalist in Turkey, Zehra Kurtay, who is awaiting an extradition court in France in the next days.
