7th June: Balloon actions in Skandinavia

In the action organised by the Scandinavian People’s Front, the slogan ‘No to Type F Prisons’ and the names of free prisoners were written on balloons in Turkish, Swedish and Arabic. The Solidarity action was held in Sweden, Denmark and Norway.

Nusayri Alevis who migrated to Oslo from Latakia and Tartus cities of Syria protested against the massacres of Alevis in their country and expressed their support for the hunger strikes in Turkey by flying balloons.

On the other hand, while protests were organised in various cities of Sweden, a Turkish family living in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, joined the solidarity by flying balloons.
