Hungerstrike Resister Sercan Ahmet Arslan’s message

The revolutionary prisoner in Turkey’s new pit-type isolation prisons, Sercan Ahmet Arslan, has been on indefinite hungerstrike for 233 days.

In a recent phone call he spoke about his understanding of comradeship, since his demand is that one of his comrades, Ufuk Keskin, who is seriously ill, be removed from isolation and transfered to a prison next to his comrades. Sercan Ahmet Arslan himself was transfered from a high security prison on the 200th day of his hungerstrike. The only and essential reason for him to carry on is to protect his comrade.
