NEW VICTORY: Mithat Öztürk’s demand for transfer was accepted

Just a few minutes ago, the People’s Law Office in Turkey, confirmed that their client, “Mithat Öztürk has been transferred to Sincan Type F Prison No. 1 and has ended his indefinite hunger strike”.

The lawyers added: “We would like to thank our people and colleagues who have not remained indifferent to the death fasts and hunger strikes against pit-type prisons”.

Today it would be Day 196 of his indefinite hunger strike.
