6 September – International Solidarity Hunger Strike for the Life of Serkan Yilmaz

On September 6, 2025, as far as it was registered, a total of 636 people in 23 countries have carried out a 1-day solidarity hunger strike to defend the life of death fast resister Serkan Onur Yilmaz in Turkey.

September 6 was the 300th day of his death fast resistance to the isolation prisons named S,R,Y and High Security Prisons. Also Ayberk Demirdögen has transformed his indefinite hunger strike to a death fast protest. 7 other political prisoners continue their indefinite hunger strike for a transfer to another prison without systematic isolation conditions.

To support Serkan Onur Yilmaz, whose death could be announced at any moment, an international solidarity hunger strike was organized, along with vigils, protest actions and support videos in various countries on the 300th day of his resistance.

19 revolutionary political prisoners in Greece, among those 17 prisoners at Larisa prison, as well as Hatzivasileiadis Dimitris and the revolutionary poet from Turkey, Hasan Biber, in other prisons, joined the hunger strike.
