E-mail sent to deputies and human rights groups

On September 10, 2025, letters were sent to the Chairman and Vice-Chairwomen of the Committee for Human Rights and Ombudsman at the Austrian Parliament by the Freedom Initiative for Poltiical Prisoners. Further E-Mail messages were sent to different political parties, as well as to human rights associations as Amnesty International.

The message included 2 files with detaild information about the pit-type isolation prisons and the actual situation of prisoners on hunger strike/death fast resistance.

All the deputies and representatives of parties and human rights groups were requested to take time for reading and to support the prisoners within the scope of their capabilities. Also a personal meeting with the deputies was requested to discuss this issue.

The letter campaign will be continued with more addresses in the coming days.
