Once again we’ll share the hunger with death fast resisters Serkan Onur Yilmaz (324 days) and Ayberk Demirdögen (204 days).
The government in Turkey still refuses the just demands of the hungerstriking prisoners, also supported by a significant number of human rights and legal associations in Turkey and internationally, to stop the murderous, illegal isolation practices in S, Y and High Security Prisons.
The state of Turkey should stop the unlawful and arbitrary detention terror of people who raise voice and carry out democratic actions for the prisoners, especially the TAYAD families, and immediately accept the demands of Serkan Onur Yilmaz, Ayberk Demirdögen and the other prisoners on indefinite hunger strike.
Serkan Onur Yılmaz has been on a death fast for 324 days for his eight friends held at Antalya High Security (pit-type) Prison. Four of these eight individuals are still on an indefinite hunger strike. The Ministry of Justice can transfer hundreds of prisoners in a single day whenever it wishes. Let the transfers take place, let Serkan Onur Yılmaz live!
