Vienna: Information booth and Flyer Action

Today in Vienna, from 2.00-3.00 p.m. an information booth was installed in the crowded shopping street Mariahilfer Straße to inform about the death fast/hunger strike resistance to pit-type isolation prisons in Turkey.

Leaflets from the Freedom Initiative for Political Prisoners with a call for action were distributed together with a comrade of the Resistance Council in Austria to dozens of people.

Conversations were made with some interested persons both about the situation of prisoners in Turkey, as well as about the war crimes and solidarity with the people of Gaza.

People who took the leaflet were requested to sign the online petition against pit-type isolation prisons and to defend the life of Serkan Onur Yilmaz and all other prisoners on hungerstrike by spreading their voices and sending letters to the Ministry of Justice.
