Despite heavy repression: TAYAD continues actions

On Wednesday, October 22, the families and members of the Solidarity Association of Prisoner’s Families in Turkey, TAYAD, held anothe emergency action in Ankara.

They demanded the closure of the pit-like isolation prisons and underlined the serious condition of hunger strike and death fast resisters, Serkan Onur Yilmaz, Ayberk Demirdögen and Fikret Akar.

The government in Turkey should immediately respond to the demands of the prisoneres and accept the transfer to prisons in compliance with human rights.
