Netherlands: Protest at Turkey’s General Consulate

While a solidarity tent was installed by Ahmet Cicek in the citiy of Rotterdam to defend the rights of the hunger striking prisoners in Turkey, a protest in front of the General Consulate of Turkey was held for the closure of the pit-type prisons on Friday, 22 October.

The protest highlighted that the resistance fighters are not alone and explained the latest developments. The group then moved to the tent of Ahmet Çicek, who is on an indefinite hunger strike in Rotterdam since October 10.
