THE 350^TH DAY OF SERKAN ONUR YILMAZ’S RESISTANCE AGAINST THE “PIT-TYPE” ATTACK WAS SALUTED WITH SOLIDARITY HUNGER STRIKES AND ACTIONS JOINED BY HUNDREDS

The solidarity hunger strike, which involved a total of 536 participants, saw the largest turnout from Greece with 182 people. In addition to Western European countries such as Austria, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, and England, comrades from Belarus, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Russia, Syria, and Turkey also joined the prisoners’ hunger. The communist Kononovich brothers, who are under house arrest in Ukraine, also participated in solidarity.

In Paris, Zehra Kurtay, who has been resisting for 116 days with a hunger strike demanding her confiscated residency rights, made a statement:
“Greetings. Today marks the 350th day of Serkan Onur Yılmaz’s death fast. I support this honourable resistance and send my love to all the resisters. Long live the resistance!”

184 emails were sent to the Ministry of Justice of Turkey and 107 messages were shared on the social media.
