Morg X screening about pit-type prisons in Marseille.

On November 15, 2025, Ayberk Demirdöğen’s hunger strike entered its 250th day.

On this occasion, an “action day” was announed and three different actions were carried out around Europe: Collective hunger strike, Hashtag action and Rallies in front of Turkey’s embassies and consulates.

Additionally, a French-subtitled screening of the Morg X documentary was held in Marseille by the Anti-Imperialist Front.

It began at the Ghasan Kanafani venue in Marseille, where everyone brought food from home and ate together to finish the hunger strike.

This was followed by a non-stop hashtag action lasting one hour.

Then, the Morg X documentary was screened for half an hour. The documentary was very well received by the audience.

They said it described the pit type prison very well and vividly portrayed it in the mind.

Some even found it “philosophical” at times. After the screening, which was attended by 14 people, there was a Q&A session.

They discussed the Pit Types and the resistance against them.
