Greece: Support for resistance to S, R and Y isolation prisons continues

As delegation of the People’s Front in Greece had a meeting with Mera25, a committee for human and social rights to talk about the S,R,Y isolation prisons in Turkey.

In the meeting the members of the committee were informed about the conditions in pit-type isolation prisons, about the situation of the hunger strikers and also about the ongoing campaign. During the visit the delegation also called for the participation in the action day on February 14, which marks day 200 of the indefinite hunger strike of Tahsin Sagaltici and Gürkan Türkoglu.

The committee confirmed that it will publish an announcement and send a letter to the Ministry of Justice in Turkey to inform them that they will join the International Day of Action and also participate in a one-day solidarity hunger strike.
