Solidarity Chain for Prisoners in Turkey continued in Austria

From 20 to 31 January, Austria took over the international solidarity chain, which has been ongoing without interruption since 30 March 2025.

One-day solidarity hunger strikes were held in Austria in support of political prisoners in Turkey, who are continuing to resist isolation torture in pit-like prisons with an indefinite hunger strike.

Twelve people from different regions of Austria participated in the solidarity chain from 20 to 31 January, including supporters of the Resistance Council, the Alliance Against Imperialist War, and the Freedom Initiative for Political Prisoners.

The S, R and Y (pit-like) isolation prisons should be closed, the demands of the prisoners on indefinite hunger strike should be accepted immediately!
