TAYAD statement regarding the detention of the international delegation on pit-type prisons

Here’s the English translation of the TAYAD statement

DOWN WITH FASCISM — LONG LIVE OUR STRUGGLE!

On February 19, 2026, a delegation from the Anti-Imperialist Front — including academics and lawyers — came to our country to gather information about the so-called “well-type” prisons and to meet with democratic mass organizations regarding this issue. After leaving the People’s Law Office, they were detained and later deported.

Fascism secretly constructed the prisons known as S, R, and Y-type facilities — hiding their construction as if it were a secret. Its aim was to subdue revolutionaries through isolation in single-person cells without ventilation, where air, sunlight, and even rain cannot enter.

The only thing fascism fears is exposure. The delegation would have shared its observations with the world, and thus fascism would have been disgraced before the peoples of the world.

Perhaps the Anti-Imperialist Front delegation was not able to see the well-type prisons or gather sufficient information about them. But by experiencing it themselves, they saw the true face of fascism. In other words, fascism did not achieve its goal through repression, detention, and deportation. Instead, it exposed its own true face to the peoples of the world.

From here, we condemn the unlawful detention and deportation of the international delegation and declare, as the peoples of the world, that we will not bow to fascism — neither inside nor outside.
