SOLIDARITY ON THE 200TH DAY OF HUSEYIN OZEN’S INDEFINITE HUNGER STRIKE

One-day solidarity hunger strikes were carried out in different countries of Europe to support the resistance to S, R and Y Type isolation prisons in Turkey.

March 7 marked the 200th day of indefinite hunger strike of the political prisoner Huseyin Ozen.

A total of 272 people in 10 countries participated in a 1-day solidarity hunger strike on March 7:

Greece  157 – Great Britain  35 – Austria  30 – Germany 6 – France  11 – Sweden  1 – Belgium  15 – Netherlands  5 – Ukraine  2 – Switzerland 10

Ahead of solidarity hunger strikes, pictures were taken in support of the hunger strike resister Huseyin Ozen, and to demand the closure of isolation prisons of the type S, R and Y in Turkey.

ACTIONS IN FRONT OF EMBASSIES AND CONSULATES OF TURKEY

Protest actions were carried out in 3 cities on March 6 to highlight the 200th day of Huseyin Ozen’s indefinite hunger strike against pit-like isolation prisons.
