International E-Mail campaign to demand end of isolation torture in Turkish prisons

On March 25, up to 50 E-Mails were addressed to the ministry of Justice in Turkey, as well as to the prison administration of Antalya High Security Prison, where 3 political prisoners recently continue their indefinite hunger strike against isolation torture for more than 200 days.

In the messages to the Turkish authorities, the immediate transfer of the prisoners on hunger strike, Gürkan Türkoglu, Tahsin Sagaltici and Hüseyin Özen was demanded.

Once again the inhuman and unacceptable isolation policy towards political prisoners in Turkey was condemned, while international solidarity with the hunger strike resistance was expressed from several countries.

Close to 50 E-mails were sent from European countries as Belarus, Russia, Germany, France, Belgium, Austria, Great Britain, Greece, Basque Country (Euskal Herria), Netherlands and Switzerland.

The isolation (pit-type) prisons should be closed!

The political prisoners on indefinite hunger strike are not alone!
