In the Netherlands, Erdem Varan, father of the Grup Yorum members Betül and Bergün Varan, released balloons for the 10 revolutionary prisoners on hunger strike against S, R and Y type isolation prisons.

Balloons of hope were released during the rebellious music festival of the MLPD in Gelsenkirchen/Germany on the 7th June. Wish balloons were also released in other parts of Germany, among others in Wuppertal.

In Paris, on the Anti-imperialist Festival the organizers let fly lanterns of hope together with the participants for the political prisoners on hungerstrike.

Greece: In a solidarity action at the 1st May Square in Athens, sky lanterns were flown for the 10 revolutionary prisoners in Turkey, who are on indefinite hungerstrike against S, R and Y isolation prisons.
