Resistance and solidarity once again became victorious 

Three political prisoners, Gürkan Türkoğlu, Tahsin Sağaltıcı and Hüseyin Özen will be transferred to a non–“pit-type” facility, the Antalya L-Type Prison.

Hüseyin Özen and Tahsin Sağaltıcı have ended their resistance, and treatment will begin. However, Gürkan’s condition is unclear; doctors have said that Gürkan may not recognise that the resistance ended with victory. Still, treatment will be started for all three, following the Turkish Medical Association’s protocol. 

This would mark another victory against the so called S-R-Y pit-type prison system.

The fascist rule consistently pushes political prisoners on hunger strike to the brink of death before conceding to their demands.

In this clash of wills between revolutionaries and fascism, resistance remains the decisive force that secures victories.

Our campaign against S, R and Y isolation prisons will continue until this inhuman facilities are closed!
