It has been reported that there have been positive developments in the health condition of Gürkan Türkoglu, who was forcibly intervened upon on the 265th day of his indefinite hunger strike in protest against solitary confinement (in pit-type prisons) and has been struggling for his life in intensive care for approximately 50 days.

Gürkan Türkoglu, who is still in the intensive care unit at Antalya City Hospital:
* Has fully regained consciousness.
* Has passed the critical stage.
* His bone marrow has started producing blood. However, he continues to receive occasional blood transfusions.
* His brain CT scan came back clear.
* He is still experiencing kidney issues.
* His muscles have not yet regained strength.
Due to weak diaphragm muscles, he cannot be disconnected from the ventilator for more than 5 minutes.
* His lungs are constantly producing infections and accumulating fluid.
