On September 25, 2026 the indefinite hunger strike of the revolutionary prisoners in Turkey, Tacettin Erol Sahin and Cem Dursun will reach day 150.
Their struggle is part of a determined resistance of political prisoners, which has been started against the isolation (High Security) prisons of type S and Y.
Over 40 times the revolutionary prisoners won their resistance by long-term hunger strikes and even death fast. One of the prisoners lost his life after a force feeding torture practice. At this moment 7 prisoners are contining with a hungerstrike against isolation and other repressive prison policies.
The hunger strike of Tacettin Erol Sahin and Cem Dursun has reached a critical level.
On 25 September, their 150th day, among others, the Anti-Imperialist Front has called for solidarity hunger strikes and actions to highlight their resistance.
